It looks like a student planner, but there’s more to it than meets the eye. The Power Learners App guides you in creating a step-by-step learning plan for each assignment in about a minute. These plans help you overcome procrastination, get started, stay focused, and master the lesson. With this app, you can learn faster and remember longer. If you want to ace your tests and get better grades, this is the perfect app for you.
As with any student planner, you start by writing down your assignments. Here is what’s different.
Before you start a homework assignment, the app will prompt you to:
1. Define the goal of the assignment: What will you learn to do?
2. Select the kinds of practice that best match what you expect on the tests.
3. Estimate how long it will take to learn this lesson.
4. Decide who you will call if you need help.

Then practice until you could get an A if there were a test tomorrow.

This app is based on nine proven principles of learning:
1. Teaching gets you started, then you learn mostly by practicing.
2. No one ever became good at anything without practice.
3. Practice what you need to do on tests—answer, solve, or discuss in writing.
4. When practicing, persevere so long as you are making progress.
5. When you get stuck, get help right away. Then continue practicing.
6. Mastering today’s lesson takes a little extra time but saves even more time on subsequent assignments and feels great.
7. Falling behind slows you down and is discouraging.
8. Estimating the time to learn each assignment breaks your work into small, doable steps, helping you overcome procrastination.
9. Comparing your estimated and actual times improves your accuracy and shows increases in your learning rate.
